These really cute pictures have been building up, so I just have to post a couple.

I know this makes two Zion posts in a row, but I didn't get to go on the Angels Landing trip so... It was nice to have William, Steph and Paisley come and stay with us the first part of March. Although the pictures are only from Zion, we also got to play in the park and have lots of fun outside. I kind of messed up the week with a little "accident" but I will let Angela post that one if she dares. These pictures come from the Riverside Walk in Zion, nice stroll by the river with the strollers up to the exit of the Narrows. Zion is a different place in the winter time with no leaves on the trees and not so many tourists, I kind of like it this time of year.
Lindy came down last weekend and forced us outside to enjoy the sunshine. Of course, she had to twist our rubber arms to get us to do it - and bribe us with some secret recipe trail mix. We hiked the Angel's Landing trail in Zion National Park. When I say we, I mean...
Lindy,
Eliza,
And me. (Of course, I'm not cute enough to have just a shot of me - I have to have my trusty sidekick to make it worthwhile to look at my picture.)
We met the chipmunk for lunch, enjoyed the view and hung on to the chains for dear life. No, honestly, it wasn't that bad even though we became famous overnight just for taking Eliza to the top. She impressed all the other hikers and loved every minute of it!! She laughed the whole way up the chained section and back down again. Then she slept. After all, being that cute is hard work.
We also ventured out to do a little climbing, but our poor sore muscles and the freezing wind didn't make us want to stay very long.
Eliza could have stayed all day if we'd only let her eat the rocks. We're so mean, I know.
I know that this really breaks our streak of not posting for a while, but looking at the calendar I realize that there is going to be Adventure 3,4 and possibly more in the coming weeks. The warm weather just calls for it. With that in mind this post shows our Adventure this weekend. See if you can guess where we went spur of the moment this weekend before you get to the last picture that gives it away, and sometime ask us about the our story of when a Quilting Retreat and a Youth Group collides, not good, but pretty funny to watch and listen to.
Eliza was so good, the cold didn't seem to bother here and she loved the snow. I think she likes sledding and snowshoeing too. After playing in the snow we went to the Bryce Canyon Visitors Center and looked at tall the cool animals. We had fun even though we had to come home a little early on Saturday to start putting in the garden.
With the weather warming up it was about time for Eliza to get a bike seat so we can all start riding the trails. Since we got the bike seat our list of rides to ride keeps growing and growing. Here are some pictures from last weekend where we rode part of the Virgin River trail.
I just downloaded my pictures and it took about 15 minutes. That means, lots of pictures. Which means lots of happenings. Which means lots of posts. We hope. Given lots of motivation. And lots of naps. :)
So here's the first. This is what I found today when I heard not-so-sleeping noises come from the room after Eliza was put in her bed for a nap.
And the face that says "But Mom, aren't you proud of me?"
